Vintage 1960s Sterling Silver Bergslagen-stone Stud Earrings.

Very charming and sought after vintage sterling silver Bergslagen-stone stud earrings. Made c 1960s, Sweden. We have replaced missing stoppers, they most likely had the original hallmarks.

Excellent condition, stoppers are replacements.

"The blue stone from "Bergslagen" in Sweden is unique. It emerges from a materia you only find in medieval foundry ruins. The colour shades are determined by remainders of the old rock. Each stone is cut and polished by hand. That's why the form of each stone differs from the rest and the reason why this jewel of yours is quite unique."
