Else Berntsen Hughes (1938-2002) and Paul C Hughes (1934-1981) co-funded their workshop Studio Else and Paul of Norway in 1959. They worked primarily in the lost wax technique of casting to create large and complex jewelry. Else Berntsen Hughes concentrated on creating full scale sculpture after Paul's death in 1981. Much sought after jewelry.
