Wonderful and much sought after bold vintage modernist sterling silver rutilated quartz ring. Fully hallmarked for renowned Jan Lundgren, Sweden year 1964.

Jan Lundgren (1934-2017) was an internationally recognised silversmith. His work was featured in museums worldwide. Winner of the 1974 Swedish Culture Prize, his work was featured in exhibits in Paris, London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Brussels, Mexico City, and Moscow. Jan Lundgren was born in 1934 in Kiruna, Sweden. He obtained his Diploma from the Swedish State School of Art in 1953, and began working independently in 1956. He was a member of the Society of Contemporary Swedish Silver.
