Wonderful and much sought after antique Victorian 18k gold micro mosaic brooch. Very high quality micro mosaic with tiny tesserae. Continental Europe (most likely Italy) ca 1850.
Condition: Micro mosaic in excellent condition with minimal wear. The gold gallery also in excellent condition. The needle and clasp are in low grade gold and are from early 1900s. Back of gallery with signs of being part of another piece of jewelry. Possibly a diadem comb.
